Working Your Inner Self.

By the title, you have probably guessed where we are going with this. Anyways...


What is your understanding of Working Hard? Answer the question, take your time.


Our understanding of hard-working is often connected with physical actions, getting things done, but we often forget that our inner self is working hard every day.

Hard-working is not always about what is on the outside, eg: a business, a career, a relationship, a degree or anything along these lines but it is within you, a relationship with you.

Some of us are aware of the hard-working our inner self makes and others are not, neither way your inner self is working hard every day, but the question now is; Is my inner self working hard for my good or not?





You see, most of us truly believe that we know ourselves, that we are self-aware of our mind, our emotional and spiritual self but truly that's far from the truth. When this is the case then our inner self is not working for our good.

People get lost in the belief that "I deeply know myself inside out", this is a trap. Knowing yourself deeply is not an exam with end result, knowing yourself is a continuous process.

When we don't take time to regularly do an inner checkup, we fail, to learn about ourselves.


We are often too busy working hard on the outer self (outside), making sure everything is well, "perfect" and going smooth, to the point of completely ignoring the importance of our inner self and how much work it requires, just as our outer-self.


When was the last time you did an inner self checkup?

Inner self goes beyond your values, goals and motivations, is also about your mental stability, your inner peace. Do not get trapped in the belief that your mental health, your inner peace are not important.

You believe this, inner instability = lack of mental peace.

Every single part of our body is equally important, starting from our mind. When our mind is not well looked after, it interferes with how the rest of our body works, so it is extremely important to equally look after our inner and outer self. But let us focus on our inner self today.


It is not an easy task, in fact, I honestly believe that is one of the hardest jobs. Looking after our mental, emotional and spiritual self and at the same time try to understand the whys and hows, is very complex.

We often seek help, but all we'll get is directions, but you are still the driver and the decision-maker. Don't underestimate the work required to succeed in this job.

Our mind is too powerful to be easily tackled.


From now on I want you to challenge yourself and start looking after your inner self and apply as much work as you do with your outer self and everything else in your life. Do it with determination, do it with attitude, do it with positivity.


If you are already doing it, I'm proud of you, continue. If you are not, then you're about to start today, don't leave it for tomorrow.

  • Work hard on you, for you, to build and rebuild you.

  • This is your journey and nobody else's, so

  • don't rush.

  • don't compare yourself and your journey

  • take your time and do things at your own pace,

  • your own healthy way but never leave it for tomorrow, what you can today.
